Elementary Two Dimensional Design
The Two Dimensional Design competition allows each club to submit one free standing design that depicts the 2024 - 2025 Theme - Radiate. This competition is designed to encourage creativity, innovation, interpretation of theme, and artistic craftsmanship. A club may only have one entry.
Elementary Betas are eligible to compete in Elementary competitions only. They may not compete with Junior Betas in Junior competitions at the state and national level.
Beginning this convention year, ribbons will no longer be placed on winning entries.
Competition Guidelines
- Designs must reflect the 2024 - 2025 Theme - Radiate.
- The free-standing design is to measure no larger than 24” W x 36” L. These measurements are to include any type of border or fringe.
- The design must be free flowing like a flag and two dimensional. The depth of the design, lettering, etc. on the material must not exceed 1/4 of an inch.
- The design must be created and produced by the students, not commercially produced.
- Each club must provide a standard or T-stand on which the design must be displayed. The standard or T-stand will not be judged.
- Entries must remain on display until the designated time of pickup.
- The Two Dimensional Design Form should be attached to the back of the entry.(No Interviews)
- Although reasonable precautions to protect entries will be taken, National Beta will not be responsible for loss or damage. It is the responsibility of clubs entering the contest to collect entered items at the designated times.
- Electricity/outlet and internet will not be provided.
